Have you ever wanted to make a new rose from an old one? Maybe your grandparent's rose or one on your property you'd like to pass on? Learn how to propagate roses with a shop light, plastic bags and a timer. A rose stem will be provided; students are also encouraged to bring one or two stems of your own roses to propagate (details on receipt). Materials included.

Pam Coath
Pam Coath is a rose exhibitor, a Horticulture Judge for the American Rose Society, a member of the "Top Gun" club and specializes in propagating roses. She has worked in rose gardens for several large estates on the Main Line. Her article on rose propagation for the American Rose Society won a Certificate of Merit. She holds a degree in Landscape Design from Temple University.
