If you’ve never tried this crispy fried chicken cutlet (katsu) dish you are in for a tasty treat. The chicken cutlet is prepared with flaky Japanese panko breadcrumbs combined with onions and shitake mushrooms. Then eggs cooked in sweet and savory donburi sauce are added and garnished with green peas, the dish is served on top of a bowl (a ceramic donburi) of steamed rice. Savor the flavors and textures along with a cup of miso soup in class.
