Are your attempts at capturing gorgeous landscapes coming out flat? And garden shots somehow miss the essence? In landscape photography, the operative words are time, light and space. Learn about lighting conditions, layering the scene, framing the picture and the use of scale to add interest and cohesion to the composition. For gardens, learn how to manage depth of field to highlight individual flowers, plants and designs. We’ll also cover equipment use (tripod and wide-angle lens or phones). First class at Creutzburg; subsequent field trips TBA.
Owen Biddle
OWEN BIDDLE has been taking pictures for thirty-five years and teaching photography for about thirty years. One thing he loves about teaching is watching his students' unique vision and creativity unfold as they master the how-to's of the camera. He loves challenging his students to see the camera as a tool for creating meaningful images. He also loves studying the masters of photography, and strives to inspire his students to use the lessons that can be learned from those who came before us, both in photography and in art, in general.
