With her breathtaking beauty and enigmatic persona, Greta Garbo was the ultimate Hollywood icon, in both film and fashion. The world's most mysterious star will be looked at in terms of her private life, as well as her classic films, including, Flesh and the Devil, Mata Hari, Grand Hotel, Queen Christina, and Ninotchka. A co-star once asked her what kind of woman she was. She answered, "honest." Beyond the perfection of her face and those glorious costumes, her myth is rooted in her integrity. But, what was her "honesty"? She left Hollywood at the peak of her fame at 36. Our question, of course, is why? Tea and scones are included.
