Read and explore Homer’s "Odyssey" in English translation. It is a poem about adventure, family, love, survival, storytelling and the passage of time that has inspired people for thousands of years. While many of the stories are familiar, you may find some of the less well known parts of the story quite interesting and surprising. The "Odyssey" explores many themes, including: the psychological difficulties of returning home from war, the importance of trust in human relationships and the role of storytelling in human life.
