Michele has been thrilled by the written word all her life. She believes writing is a self-revealing adventure. After a career as an English Teacher, she enrolled in the Autobiographical Writing class at MLSN and has been involved with this group for over a decade. She has just completed writing her first book, a memoir revealing her life as a nun.Sandy Lichtenstein
Sandy Lichtenstein has been writing all her life. She has been in the Autobiographical Writing Class for too many years to count, has published a memoir of growing up as a twin in Providence, RI, and continues to look for the humor in life to inspire her stories.Kris Strid
Kris Strid is a published author, poet and memoir writer. Still living in the house where she and her four brothers grew up, rasing five children and enjoying fourteen grandchildren has given her a reservoir of stories.Kate Varley
Kate Varley earned a BA from Clark University, MS and PhD from University of Pennsylvania. She has worked as a therapist, psych adjunct, teacher, editor, tutor, and even had a brief stint as a quasi-forger (totally legal). She was founder and editor of the late, lamented zine of autobiographical writing and poetry, Creek Road Gang, and author of a comic mystery Off Center.
