Orson Welles said that black and white photography was like a message from another world. Drawing on the ideas of film noir, explore night photography as well as high-contrast and atmospheric renditions of people and interiors. Using artificial light, both "found" and set up, take your photography in mysterious new directions. Low-light color photography will also be covered. For intermediate and advanced photographers.
Owen Biddle
OWEN BIDDLE has been taking pictures for thirty-five years and teaching photography for about thirty years. One thing he loves about teaching is watching his students' unique vision and creativity unfold as they master the how-to's of the camera. He loves challenging his students to see the camera as a tool for creating meaningful images. He also loves studying the masters of photography, and strives to inspire his students to use the lessons that can be learned from those who came before us, both in photography and in art, in general.
