This fashionable sewing class is great for beginners and experienced sewists alike. Learn the techniques used to construct numerous garments for your day-to-day or day-to-night wardrobe. You will construct a flirty fit & flare dress, just in time for summer. BYOSM (bring your own sewing machine). Class size limited to 10 students. Supply list sent with registration.
ChaCha N'Kole
ChaCha N. Hudson is an international fashion designer, philanthropist, motivator, and educator. She has taught fashion and design innovation courses at the University of Delaware, advanced sewing courses at Moore College of Art & Design, and fashion business strategies and clothing construction workshops at Charthess School of Fashion and MBA Mode Institute in Accra, Ghana. ChaCha is the owner of The SEWcial Cafe, a female-focused creative coworking space in Philadelphia. The SEWcial Cafe provides space, sewing machinery, and educational workshops and courses encouraging women to create, collaborate, and develop handmade products. Current members are transitioning from creating handmade sewn goods as a hobby to building small businesses.N/A
