This 91-acre natural preserve in Wayne features unspoiled woods, picturesque creeks and abundant wildlife. Enjoy a moderate-medium level hike of approximately 2 miles through varied terrain. Along the way, McKaig’s Park Ranger will recount stories of local history - on 10/12, discover the connection between a regal princess, a scared local boy worried about being drafted and an 85-year-old political campaign; on 10/26, learn about the spark that led to the Boston Tea Party and Revolutionary War along with the significance of the "Pine Tree Riot" during its 250th anniversary year.
