This 91-acre natural preserve in Wayne features unspoiled woods, picturesque creeks and abundant wildlife. Enjoy a moderate-medium level hike of approximately 2 miles through varied terrain. Along the way, McKaig’s Park Ranger will recount stories of local history - on 10/12, discover the connection between a regal princess, a scared local boy worried about being drafted and an 85-year-old political campaign; on 10/26, learn about the spark that led to the Boston Tea Party and Revolutionary War along with the significance of the "Pine Tree Riot" during its 250th anniversary year. Trail map with park highlights included.
