The art of dance is central to human expression with a rich cultural heritage, drawing on traditions from multiple places around the world. But starting in the experimental climate of the '60s and '70s the boundaries of movement dissolved, resulting in new directions in the field of dance and how it was viewed by audiences - through music videos, and in museum settings and unconventional spaces. Explore the role of dance in contemporary society by enjoying a variety of international styles and discuss how the camera has changes the way both classical and modern dance are viewed and appreciated.
