This is a design class focusing on plant selection and arrangement. A well-designed garden should fit your style as well as your budget and working with nature can help. Discover how to create a practical garden that is low maintenance, protects the environment and provides a habitat for wildlife. Orsolya will walk you through the process from basic design principles to what a design may look like and how to choose the right plants.

Growing up in Hungary, Orsolya enjoyed fresh fruit and vegetables from our family garden. Traveling and hiking through Europe introduced me to varied landscapes and gardening styles. After becoming an Ecologist in Hungary, she earned Master Degree in Molecular Biology in the US. As a landscape designer, she drew on her science education and take inspiration from natural landscapes, has designed and maintained gardens for 15 years in 3 different countries, while keeping nature and wildlife in mind and discourages planting invasives and promote the use of native plants and sustainable landscape practices. www.learndothrive.com
