Greg Maughan

Greg Maughan is the founder and Executive Director of Philly Improv Theater, where he has taught improv for the past 15 years. In addition, he has provided corporate team building through improv to hundreds of clients ranging from national brands like Comcast, Cirque du Soleil, and Guinness to professional services companies like Ballard Spahr, PWC, and Vanguard, to local favorites like Wawa, the Philadelphia 76ers, and University of Pennsylvania. Greg has been acting in and directing improv and sketch comedy shows since 1999 – first in Detroit and then in Philadelphia. As an improviser he has performed across the United States and shared the stage at various points in time with Keegan Michael-Key (Key & Peele), Kevin McDonald (Kids in the Hall), Matt Besser (Upright Citizens Brigade), and Marc Evan Jackson (The Good Place). Teaching improv, especially to new students, is one of his favorite things (beating out raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens).
