Twachtmann captured rural CT before it disappeared; Gloucester MA where artists from Winslow Homer to Milton Avery recorded seascapes and harbor scenes; Cornish NH where Augusts Saint-Gaudens produced some of the most iconic sculptures in America; and Taos where Georgia O'Keeffe revealed the magic of New Mexico.
