Turn pesky weeds into tasty treats like a forager’s pesto with crow garlic or a refreshing nettle lime cupcake. Get guidance on identifying edible backyard plants and how to incorporate these and other spring botanicals into nourishing, healthy recipes. Build your herbal skills by taking notes on how these botanicals are used and start composing your own “ materia medica” (Latin for healing materials) journal as you gain insights into understanding the therapeutic qualities of these versatile plants.

Students should bring a small mason jar to take home extra pesto, a tea mug and a notebook.
Fee: $59.00
