Laura Cruz

Like many of us, Laura traces her love of the outdoors back to her childhood. “There was a small patch of woods and a stream on my parents’ property where my friends and I would play for hours. We found crayfish, which was very exciting, and would constantly be stuck in the mud. Even though it was right in my backyard it felt like the wilderness.” Prior to working for Natural Lands, Laura was a horticulture intern at Winterthur and a natural lands gardener at Longwood Gardens. Most recently, she was a research and development gardener and ecological sales representative at North Creek Nurseries. Laura received her B.S. in Psychology from Ursinus College. She earned a Masters of Landscape Architecture from University of Sheffield.
