Take a look at the first four chapters of "Genesis" in an attempt to answer the question, "Are they true?" Did the events happen exactly as they are described, making them historically and scientifically true? Does it need to be understood literally to be true? How do archaeology and modern critical scholarship impact on our answer? How are we even sure we know what the words mean?
