Consider the influence of place on art, from the Catskill Mountains to  the gritty energy of SoHo/TriBeCa and the coastal calm of Long Island. Discuss the works of diverse artists within the context of their time and place of inspiration including Frederic Edwin Church, Lee Krasner, Red Grooms, Georgia O’Keeffe and Jackson Pollock, among others.
