Start with the basics of creating the optimal photo, using light and camera settings for artistic effects, how to obtain sharp photographs in low light or moving objects, and understanding white balance, focus, aperture, and panning. Discuss digital file types, naming, sizes, compression, and methods of transferring to a computer. An introduction to digital processing software such as Photoshop or Lightroom will be covered.
