Zelda Fitzgerald was the embodiment of the Roaring 20s. Her husband, Scott Fitzgerald, himself, christened it the Jazz Age. Zelda and he rode the crest of the 20s from its glamorous excess to its guttering, tragic final phase. Zelda has been portrayed as the unstable foiler of Scott's great talent. Yet, she was an artist in her own right, a ballet dancer and a writer, too. She was the quintessential Flapper, beautiful, risk-taking, a proto-feminist. Her life, and Scott's, will be explored. Stay for tea and scones following the talk.
