The Intrepid aircraft carrier, served in the U.S. Navy for over three decades and played a role in World War II, the Cold War, the Space Race and the Vietnam War. Intrepid now serves as a museum on Pier 86 in New York City. After a docent led tour, we will visit Hudson Yards, New York's newest neighborhood. After lunch on your own, you can climb Vessel, visit The Shed, or look out of the Observation Deck - a thousand feet in the air.
