H. Bernard Hall is Assistant Professor of Urban Teacher Education at Drexel University in the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum. His teaching and research interests include urban teacher education and development for social justice, secondary English education, hip-hop pedagogy and critical qualitative research. Dr. Hall has facilitated numerous professional and personal development workshops on anti-racist practice in public and independent K-12 schools and colleges across the Delaware Valley. His scholarship has been featured in peer-reviewed academic journals such as Urban Education and International Journal of Multicultural Education, and national conferences including the American Educational Research Association and National Council of Teachers of English. He lives in Ardmore, PA with his wife, Nate' (Na-Tay), and sons, Noah and Braden.Amy Meyerson
Amy Meyerson is the bestselling author of The Booksho,p of Yesterdays, which will be translated into 11 languages. She has been published in numerous literary magazines and teaches in the Writing Program at the University of Southern California, where she completed her graduate work in creative writing.
