Elena Popchock
Elena Popchock is the exhibition developer at the National Constitution Center, overseeing exhibit content from conception through installation. Since 2016, she has served as the lead developer for several exhibits, including Hamilton: The Constitutional Clashes That Shaped a Nation and most recently, the permanent exhibit Civil War and Reconstruction: The Battle for Freedom and Equality. She is currently writing and developing an exhibit on the 19th Amendment, which guaranteed voting rights for women. Prior to joining the Center, she worked at the National Park Service’s collections facility outside Washington, D.C. She has also assisted with the development of exhibits at Ford’s Theatre, The President Woodrow Wilson House, and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture. Her background is in American history and exhibition development, having earned museum studies degrees at Juniata College and The George Washington University.
