NEW Every masterwork is a combination of far-ranging imagination, painterly skills, and the materials available at the time they are made. Frequently artists use these materials to make powerful visual statements. Each week look closely at small and large-scale works made with pigments, oil, watercolors, and much more. See how the paintings of Vermeer, Pollack, Frida Kahlo and others shimmer and shine because of the media they were made with and consider how they have changed the way we view art. Each conversation-style session includes short, related videos.
Fee: $82.00
