Explore the impact of color, line and shape while developing paintings in your own individual style. Emphasis will be on color, mixing, using mediums to paint, brushstrokes, applications of layering paint, and how to compose a unified composition. This class will focus on tips to paint from a photograph as well as still life. Spontaneity and observation will be emphasized for an open approach to painting that enables expressive and imaginative thinking. All levels welcome.
