From approximately 1900 to 1960, a vibrant art colony located in and around New Hope, Pennsylvania, became one of the most distinguished gatherings of artists in the U.S. Known as the New Hope School of Art, it is the story of its founder, William Lathrop, of three generations of talented artists including the Philadelphia Ten, a group of women who banded together in the 1920s and 1930s to exhibit their work, and of present day artists. Come find out about this rich local heritage and how it can still be appreciated and experienced today.
Fee: $79.00
