This richly illustrated presentation examines the magical and often playful and eye-pleasing creations of three fascinating individuals - Swiss -- born Paul Klee, active in the first part of the century; Spanish expatriate Remedios Varo who painted mid-century in Mexico; and American pop artist Keith Haring, whose meteoric career was sadly cut short in 1990 -- all informed by the world events and personal experiences that helped to shape their preternatural abilities and unforgettable visions.
