Sample eloquent reflections from three contemporary American works: Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants, by Robin Wall Kimmer; The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Nature, by J.
