Archaeological evidence uncovered at sites throughout modern Jordan, the Negev Desert of Israel, southern Syria and northwestern Saudi Arabia provide insights into the history, society and economy of this important yet little understood region. "Unearth" the history of Arabia from its beginnings as the Nabataen Kingdom to its apogee as a province on the eastern edge of the Roman Empire as an archaeologist and expert in ancient history shares his experiences. During 26 years in the field, Dr. Dolinka has either directed or worked on excavations in Greece, Jordan and Israel and has recently returned from living in the Middle East.
