It’s known as a “Japanese pancake” and what could be better than incorporating this festive food into your culinary repertoire? Toss some veggies into homemade batter, add some seafood if you wish, then top with savory sauces. Fay will also show you how to make the fruity okonomiyaki sauce and what garnishes to use, such as flaked roasted aonori (seaweed), bonito flakes and pickled ginger. Enjoy the meal in class.
