Throughout time, there have been moments in society that demanded radical change and artists answered the call. Whether incorporating the colors of the flag or historic figures in contemporary settings or words or deeds, art has, at times, moved messages of passion, pride, and resistance in ways that words alone cannot. David, Chicago, Benton, and others will be featured. Each conversational-style class features a diversity of artists and includes short videos to enrich the discussion.
