Art Deco skyscrapers made New York and other cities around the country and world the place where beautiful people sped around in luxurious cars and trains to see and be seen. Deco created a hotbed of modernity in fashion, painting, sculpture, jewelry, interiors - all with a focus on speed and style. From the Golden Age of Hollywood movie sets to the continuing influence today, explore the history and times that inspired the Deco decorations by the likes of Erté, Lempicka, Lalique, and others.
