Both physicists and artists rely on imagination to explore uncharted territory. Physicists use it to conceive new theories, while artists use it to create new forms of expression. See how artists have explored the physics of light, color, energy, and motion, including Turner’s awe-inspiring landscapes depicting natural phenomena in revolutionary ways, and Calder’s gravity-defying sculptures that play with weight and movement. Explore how Rebecca Horn’s unique installations and Star Trek’s futuristic technologies relate to scientific discoveries.
