Get a behind the scenes look at how creative advertising teams working for tobacco companies were able to keep Americans smoking in the face of mounting medical reports that delineated the health hazards of smoking and why it was hard for people to quit.

Stephen F. Gambescia is professor and director of a Doctor of Health Science program at Drexel University. He has over 40 years of experience in health promotion and disease prevention. Before taking on a faculty role, he had 15 years of experience in the tobacco control movement at the local, state, and national level, working for the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association.
