Anita Friday, the founder of Open Hearts: A Path for Racial Healing, returns to speak with MLSN after four years of national reckoning. Examine steps that have been taken and lessons that have been learned. In addition, tools that may help you understand and advocate for racial justice and empathy will be offered.

Anita Friday

Anita Cason Friday is the founder of Open Hearts: A Path for Racial Healing. She is a skilled facilitator and has developed lectures, workshops and curriculum which address issues of America's painful relationship with race. She has also served as a panelist at events with topics including criminal justice, racial justice, educational justice and prison reform. Anita is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Georgetown Law Center. She lives with her family in Berwyn, PA. Ultimately, participants in her workshops are asked: What will you do to dismantle racism?
