Sculptor Drew Zimmerman hammers on his predecessors— were they geniuses or just a bunch of chiselers? Examine work by Picasso, Brancusi, Calder, Cornell, Giacometti, Lipschitz, Moore, Morris, Nevelson, Oldenburg, Puryear, Hirst, and others, and consider sculpture that transforms the way we see (or else transforms for what the public will pay). Zimmerman will also give you a ‘talking map’ for walking tours of Philadelphia’s outdoor sculpture and architecture.
