Sharon Edwards

Sharon Edwards is the Principal of Brandywine River Consulting a company she founded in 2001 after following a successful 18 year career in Learning and Development, Human Resources and Operations Management. She brings to the company a unique combination of business management experience and learning and development expertise. She has been a trusted partner in the design of customized and proprietary training programs, learning and development consulting, coaching and facilitation. Prior to establishing Brandywine River Consulting, Sharon demonstrated her passion for employee development and success in corporate and educational institutions. She spent 15 years with ARAMARK Corporation, a $12 Billion, 240,000 employee, international diversified services corporation. She held the position of Director, Organizational Advancement, ARAMARK Business Services Group, Director, Human Resources, ARAMARK International and Senior Manager, ARAMARK Food and Support Services Group. Sharon earned her Master’s Degree in Human Resources at Widener University in Chester, PA while serving as Adjunct Professor in the School of Hospitality Management and her Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from the same institution. She is a certified executive coach and qualified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. She is also certified in People Skills (Effectiveness Institute), Strategic Selling (Miller Heiman), Targeted Selection (DDI) and Situational Leadership (BTD). Brandywine River Consulting provides high-caliber staff skilled in business, facilitation and human resource development. To that end we bring experience in having worked with some of the best professional partners in the business. We have a network of learning and development professionals with broad, in-depth knowledge that allows us to meet a variety of client needs.

Mike Mayer

Mike brings more than 30 years of experience in leadership development and talent management to clients of Richmond Hazleton Group. He has an extensive background in executive talent acquisition for Fortune 500 companies as well as early stage firms. He has worked with clients ranging in size from large (Microsoft, Heinz, Safeco) to small and emerging pre-IPO or privately held organizations. For more than 20 years, Mike held human resources leadership positions within General Electric, Allied Signal, and the Aramark Corporation where he personally led and contributed to significant organization initiatives that entailed large scale change. His human resources leadership experiences include major talent acquisition and integration efforts, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and helping to strengthen firms’ infrastructure through substantive talent management efforts. His ability to quickly assess an organization and build trust with the organization’s leadership team enables him to contribute to enhancing the leadership’s effectiveness. Throughout his career, he was able to successfully accelerate the growth in responsibility (as well as salary) for a large number of people at different levels in the organization. He continues to be a sought-after resource by individuals at a variety of stages in their career path. For each individual, Mike worked one-on-one and created a carefully crafted plan that included specific actions, development plans and targeted communications that resulted in rapid achievement of each employee’s objectives. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degree in Management, Mike has served as a lecturer at Villanova University where he teaches graduate courses in Management and Organizational Behavior. He also holds professional certification credentials in executive assessment and coaching. Mike and his family reside in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, and he has successfully lived and survived the challenges of advising his own children through the post-college graduation job search process!
