Parents as well as kids are more stressed than ever before. Practicing mindfulness is a way to cope with anxiety and other challenging emotions by helping you to be in the present moment without worrying about anything else. Recent research suggests that encouraging your children to engage in mindfulness can have such positive benefits as increasing concentration and improving self esteem. In this class, you along with your child (age 8 & up) will participate in exercises designed to get you started in sharing the path to becoming more peaceful and resilient in facing life’s challenges. Registration includes 1 adult/1 child; additional child $18.

Notes:

Please wear comfortable clothing. Students to bring something comfortable to sit on. A meditation cushion, pillow or blanket.
