Ancient Anatolia, now modern-day Turkey, boasts impressive archaeological remains ranging from the Bronze Age Hittites to Iron Age Phrygians to the Persians, Greeks, and Romans. Explore the most important archaeological sites of this region, including the Lion Gate at Hattusa, the important religious sanctuary at Midas City, the famous library of Celsus at Ephesus, the monumental altar at Pergamum, and the temple of Aphrodite at Aphrodisias.
