Isaiah is the most quoted prophet in the New Testament. Examine a number of these quotes, in particular, the quotes that attempt to prove that Jesus was the Messiah. For example, Isaiah 40, “a voice cries out” is quoted in all four gospels. Look at the grammar and poetic devices to compare and contrast the different interpretations.
