Superman has shaped American pop culture since the 1930’s through appearances in comic books, animated cartoons, radio, movie serials, television and feature films. Enjoy an overview of Superman’s early history and then focus on the life and career of George Reeves. Reeves was a minor film player, but is best remembered as TV’s first Superman. His Superman inspired a generation.
