In this age of polarized politics and antagonism-as-agenda, how do we understand the world and engage in constructive dialogue? This class begins with a refresher in critical thinking (logic) and moves to a comprehensive critique of the media. Finally, key issues of the students’ choosing, such as “gun rights” vs. “gun safety,” and “Antifa” vs. “Alt-Right,” etc., will be thoughtfully examined and discussed.
(Optional reading material will be provided at no cost.)
