Art on Emery Paper

Emery paper, a pure black abrasive (like sandpaper), is an interesting substrate for artwork. The black background allows you to achieve subtle effects from sunrises, sunsets, moonlight, and other unique lighting conditions. Explore this texture and see how drawing with colored pencils can produce effects similar to pastels or watercolor. Demonstrations of results from various techniques will be shown.
