Join us as we read and discuss Homer’s Iliad in English translation. The Iliad is one of the first, and greatest, poems in western literature. It explores the human condition in ways that I think you will find deeply meaningful and unforgettable. We will use Robert Fitzgerald’s translation.

Alice Garrett

Alice Garrett graduated from Princeton University in 1982 with a degree in English Literature. She received her MA in Classical Studies in 1986 from Boston University. Since that time she taught high school Latin at Haverford High School and Lower Merion High School.
