The Philosophy of Baruch Spinoza

Spinoza (1632-1677) was excommunicated from the Jewish community of Amsterdam because of the radicalism of his ideas. He is credited by some to be the philosopher that brought philosophy into the modern age. He had been labeled an atheist or a pantheist even though he thought he was the one true monotheist.
