This guided tour will discuss three families who called Woodford Mansion their summer home in the turbulent years up to and including the Revolutionary War: The Barclays and Franks who were British loyalists, and George Clymer, a Founding Father who signed both the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. We will also put a spotlight on the enslaved, indentured, and hired persons that lived and worked at Woodford, and how the Revolutionary War impacted them. Please note the walking/standing scale for this activity is 3 FEET which means Extensive Walking and Lengthy Periods of Standing.
