Visit to the Reopened Frick Collection

Join us for a visit to the newly renovated Frick Collection in New York City. Experience the masterpieces collected by Pittsburgh industrialist Henry Clay Frick and housed in his former residence, one of the Upper East Side’s few remaining Gilded Age mansions. Lunch on your own. PLEASE NOTE: the Frick recently notified us there are no group guided visits while they undergo a group policy reevaluation to determine how to ensure the best visitor experience. The Frick IS offering MLSN an online tour - structured like their in-person one - where an educator will discuss an overview of the Collection and then 2 or 3 artworks in depth in an interactive conversation. This will happen in 2 sessions (am and pm) the week before as preparation for our visit. There is also a cell phone audio tour on specific artworks available as you explore the galleries. The walking/standing scale for this activity is 3 FEET which means Extensive Walking and Lengthy Periods of Standing.
