Learn to explore serious subjects with penetrating wisdom, brutal honesty, and a hearty dose of self-deprecating humor, turning any subject into a personal essay that both enlightens and entertains. Carefully examine humor-driven personal essays by writers like Anne Lamott, Dave Barry, and David Sedaris and enjoy a workshop experience with the opportunity to present and receive feedback on personal writing. All levels of experience welcome. Come prepared to laugh, mostly at yourself.
