Those little almond flour sandwich cookies known for their cloud-like texture and subtle sweetness can be challenging and time consuming to make. Dianne will show you a recipe for a simpler and nearly foolproof way to whip up a batch of perfect heart shaped chocolate macarons filled with raspberry jam and buttercream just in time for Valentine's Day. If you want to bake along with the class, you’ll just need to have some parchment paper, a flat cookie sheet, a pastry bag and a stand or hand mixer. Ingredients list sent prior to class.

Dianne Dillman

Chef Dianne graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York in their first class to admit women. She's been a chef at three and four star restaurants, a caterer, a food purchaser and a baker. Chef Dianne loves pie so much she's been known to spend the day foraging in the woods for black and red raspberries for them and even to steal apples from the neighbor's tree for them!
