Learn about how the many symbols we associate with winter today come from ancient ceremonies of the Solstice season, such as mistletoe, holly, and ivy, which were gathered by moonlight on Winter Solstice Eve. In this session, we will survey and discuss a series of myths, stories, fairytales and myths about winter, as well as discuss traditions and rituals from around the world that mark this magical time of year.
