John McBride
John McBride has degrees from the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (Classical Japanese literature), Australian National University, (International Relations), and The University of Melbourne (MBA).
John’s interest in travel writing in Japanese classical literature has seen him walking the old highway systems of Japan for over 40 years. For the past eight years he has been guiding history walks in Japan.
In 2010, John was awarded an Order of Australia (AM) for his services to business and cultural links between Australia and Japan.
